Welcome to the second issue of Peril – themed “Heroes”.

We certainly have got a diverse range to offer you this time around, from the Vox Pop that Tseen has composed exploring people’s ideas on heroes, to individual musings on people’s personal heroes, a sound recording of ninjas and lots of poetry!
We have touching pieces by Helen Huynh on her mother, Phillip Tang on his father and Leslie Cheung, and a piece dedicated to the late Lisa Bellear to name a few. We are also privileged to be publishing scenes two and five from Binh Duy Ta’s latest work “Yellow is not Yellow”. This edition provoked a lot of thinking for me on who were my heroes past and present. I hope that this issue does the same for you.

Thank you to our authors and our readers for their support, and the ongoing collaboration of Tseen, Tom and Adam.
I’d like to also give a special thanks to Alister Air for designing and putting up the material on site, doing a wonderful job as usual.

The next theme for issue 3 is “Rebel” and we’d like submissions by April 30 2007.
