Cybec Electric, as part of Asia TOPA, is a series of readings of eight new works from Asian-Australian playwrights.
Cybec Electric, MTC’s annual play reading series, has this year expanded to include the work of nine playwrights: Kim Ho, Hiroki Kobayashi, Jeremy Nguyen and Alan Nguyen, Hoa Pham, Natesha Somasundaram, Arun Subramaniam, Jean Tong and Chi Vu.
Dynamic, new and always insightful, Cybec Electric offers a fresh view of ourselves, our city, country and region, through the dazzling imaginations of some of Melbourne’s most thrilling emerging playwrights. From political assassination to crowded trains, from a small Mallee town to angry mermaids, come join us to enjoy originality, wit and great insight.
