Playlist: State of the Art

So much good music has come out this year, and right now there’s a good chance you’re feeling overwhelmed by end-of-year lists. But people are still releasing killer tunes every moment, and it’s kinda tricky keeping up. So, for this week on You Don’t Sound Asian, we’ve handpicked eight tracks from the year gone by that might have scooted under your radar, to keep you cruising right through December.

Featuring a super varied, all-gold lineup of Australian and international artists, ‘state of the art’ keeps it at 100. We’ve got hip-hop from Swet Shop Boys and Omar Musa, hip-pop from Bossy Love, shiny beats from Neon Bunny, Corin and Yeo, and guitar-driven feels and raucousness from The fin. and Darts respectively.

To be the first to know when we’ve got another playlist (orrr other special treat… stay tuned!) for your listening pleasure, you can follow us on Soundcloud.

And ahead of our final You Don’t Sound Asian playlist for 2017, if there are any tunes by #BadassAsians that have blown you away this year, we wanna hear about ‘em! Tweet us @PerilMag.
