Lost Lake is my second full-length collection. The book consists of eight sequences of poetry, collage and photography, and draws together material from a range of sources, from Dante’s Inferno and Steve Reich’s Different Trains, to Woman’s Day magazines and the archives of artist and autodidact Joseph Cornell.
Below is an extract from the eponymous sequence, ‘Lost Lake’.
Lost Lake will be launched along with an exhibition, titled ‘House, floating’, for the Craft Cubed Festival. The event will be co-hosted by artist and poet Leah Muddle, whose artworks will also be on display. Details are on the invitation below, designed by Leah. There will be wine, music and paper mâché objects.
