Chris Lee teaches in the Department of English at the University of British Columbia. He is the author of--The Semblance of Identity: Aesthetic Mediation in Asian American Literature--and various essays on Asian Diaspora literatures and cultures. He is the Canada Editor of the journal--Asian Diaspora Visual Cultures in the Americas. As director of UBC’s Asian Canadian and Asian Migration Studies Program, he is committed to creating opportunities for students to engage with Asian Diaspora communities in collaborative and transformative ways.
