Michelle Dang is a social worker and community development worker responding to sexual violence through supporting survivors and through community education. She is Vietnamese-Australian, born in Hong Kong, raised in the Melbourne, and now living in Brisbane. She longs for a world where there is a stronger movement towards prison abolition through addressing violence with radical, transformative politics. Her work is informed by bell hooks, Paulo Freire, INCITE!, narrative practice and anti-oppressive/feminist ideas.
