Anita Mannur is an associate professor of English at Miami University, Ohio. She is currently the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Asian American Studies, author of Culinary Fictions: Food in South Asian Diasporic Culture(Temple, 2010) and co-editor of Theorizing Diaspora (2004) and Eating Asian America (2013). Her articles have appeared in MELUS, Cultural Studies, American Literary History, Journal of Postcolonial Writing and several edited collections. In 2012 she was the recipient of an Early Career Award from the Association for Asian American Studies.
