RYAN S GUSTAFSSON is an Honorary fellow at the Asia Institute, The University of Melbourne. They are trained in continental philosophy and social theory. They are working on a research project on Korean transracial adoption, with a focus on racial embodiment, subjectivity, and identity. They are also currently completing a book manuscript titled The Rehabilitation of the Possible: On Nature in Merleau-Ponty’s Philosophy. Their most recent publication is a co-edited book, Philosophies of Difference: Nature, Racism, and Sexuate Difference (Routledge, 2018). They also organize open-to-public academic events at The
