ABOUT THIS FORUM:
This forum aims to increase the capacity of workers within the sector to engage ATSI and CALD LGBTI communities and will provide opportunities for participants to learn about & contribute to a range of different topics/discussions, including:
– hear ATSI and CALD LGBTI community members personal stories/inclusive practice strategies;
– gain knowledge about Hume Region ATSI and CALD LGBTI communities and their needs – a local context;
– launch the Hume Region advisory group, “THRIVE” – connecting/supporting ATSI and CALD LGBTI communities/individuals of all ages.

Kildonan UnitingCare’s Diversity Project is partnering with the Hume Region’s HACC Development Team under the Victorian State Government’s funding to support same sex attracted, intersex and gender diverse young people as part of the Healthy Equal Youth (HEY) Project with a particular focus on ATSI and CALD LGBTI communities.
HACC/CHSP has a focus on diversity in ageing. THIS IS A FREE EVENT.
